AVEON OFFSHORE Berth – Nigeria

Another success for LEDUC’s Construction teams : completion of AVEON OFFSHORE heavy berth in Port Harcourt (Nigeria), despite the restrictions imposed by the pandemic COVID-19 !

Site works started early 2020, and were finished by end of June, just in time before the rainy season.

This heavy quay was designed by IOA to support up to 450T capacity cranes, as well as multiwheel loaders used for the transfer of offshore decks from the fabrication yard up to the transport barges.

LEDUC was selected by AVEON OFFSHORE for the construction of the quaywalls (Combiwall and Pile-to-Pile) and the installation of deep foundations for the quay slab and crane tracks (H-piles and tubular piles).

This project was done in continuation of the slipway built in 2016 at the same location by LEDUC for the TOTAL EGINA oilfield SPM buoy launching, « the largest buoy in the world » (2500T).
